H2O PRO Aussie Turtle Substrate is suitable for both Long and Short Neck Turtles. Many natural rocks can adjust pH levels making water acidic or extremely alkaline to the detriment of turtle health, however this sets pH at the correct level.
DIRECTIONS - Please rinse thoroughly in a clean bucket before use.
HELPFUL TIP - As Aussie Turtles tend to dig we recommend adding a 4cm thickness of substrate. This will be approximately 10kg per 30 cm (foot). For example - 90cm Aquarium/3 foot = 30kg.
WARNING - Aquarium gravel is not suitable as it is a choking hazard for Turtles.
